Regarding my previous post about the doll orders, I've decided to keep the $5 off each additional doll special until December 31. If you order prior to that date, then the special applies to you, however; I wouldn't use this for gift-related stuff. If you intend to use a doll as a gift, I would order prior to December 1 (preferably within the next week, because ordering immediately prior to that date might not guarantee that it'll be finished in time and shipped out, unless you don't mind a your-gift's-not-here-yet sort of situation. :P )

Well, I would love to play RE5 Mercenaries with someone. Playing it alone is kinda boring but whenever I host a game, most people who join me look intimidating with all their unlocked characters and SS ranks. o_o I've only unlocked about half the maps. Leave PSNs here and I'll add =)

Mine is unbearablyso

ETA
Clare's updating her tweeter with answers from fans about the movie, but there's nothing connected with TMI movie, just about the movie production general.

Hector and Purple is an ongoing, possibly never-ending, love story of a guy with Asperger's and a spontaneous, carefree gal.

This story started as just a random little short story, but I think i'm going to continue it pretty far. Possibly to 100 parts. For now, it's rather PG, but it might get a little less PG later on. It's not 'great' writing, according to my grandmother (it's 'simple'.) I think it's good though, and i'm proud of it. So i'm showing it off.

All the stories are on the same page, because they were all posted on the same day:
hectorandpurple.livejournal.com/2009/11/15/

Part 1-
He enjoyed boolean operators, 1337, binary code and ballet.

Part 2-
I had to do it before she was swept up by some guy who couldn't even solve a simple exponential equation.

Part 3-
Perhaps I should have said something to him…but I couldn’t really think of anything.

Ok so, I hardly ever post here, perhaps never. But, if anyone would have the answer to my question it would have to be the world of girl_gamers. Anyway, I am slowly but surely working on a site for online text based Role-Playing. This of course is based soley on Creative writing and everything. Once I get it up and going there are going to be prizes for best post of the week and whatever else. You know, incentive for good writing. Even scholarships once I get my writing foundation off the ground.

Yea, I'm a geek for writing. But then someone told me something that had me sadly dismayed. They said, "Online Text Role-Play is dead, incase you didn't know." Is that true? Do people only get involved in MUDs and MMOs? So I suppose that is the point of my inqury to find out if people even write creatively online any more or has the art truly died and I have either missed the train or completely wasted my time?

Hi there.
This is my first post to this page. I've recently taken up writing again, and hope to gain some usefull tips from here :-)
This story was actually part of an assignment I did for Uni. I really enjoyed it, but unfortunatley had to cut a lot out due to word count limits. I'm considering re-writing it for my own pleasure, but not sure if it's worth it. Any feedback/constructive criticism would be much appreciated!

I'm getting confused about the order in which I should read the Holmes stories/novels.

I've read A Study in Scarlet and The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. The book I have is a combination of Adventures and Memoirs. So I would just now be starting memoirs.

But should I be reading that next?

I'm confused because there doesn't seem to be a good chronology available and I don't want to do too much digging or I may spoil myself on something.

Wiki says:

-----
Novels

* A Study in Scarlet (published 1887, in Beeton's Christmas Annual)
* The Sign of the Four (published 1890, Lippincott's Monthly Magazine)
* The Hound of the Baskervilles (serialised 1901–1902 in The Strand)
* The Valley of Fear (serialised 1914–1915 in The Strand)

Short stories

For more detail see List of Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes short stories.

The short stories were originally published in periodicals; they were later gathered into five anthologies:

* The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (contains stories published 1891–1892 in The Strand)
* The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes (contains stories published 1892–1893 in The Strand as further episodes of the Adventures)
* The Return of Sherlock Holmes (contains stories published 1903–1904 in The Strand)
* His Last Bow (contains stories published 1908–1913 and 1917)
* The Case-Book of Sherlock Holmes (contains stories published 1921–1927)
-----

But that 1984 Sherlock Holmes tv show is, as I understood it, based on each of the Holmes stories as they could do and I'm seeing that it's set up like this:

Series 1 & 2: The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes
Series 3 & 4: The Return of Sherlock Holmes
Series 5 & 6: The Case-book of Sherlock Holmes
Series 7: The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes

...So what the hell? Should I not be reading the Memoirs right after the Adventures? Why is the Memoirs last in the tv series but second in the wiki list? What's going on here? Was Doyle just publishing/writing shit all over the place in chronology and the tv show straightened it out? Should I be going according to the tv show?

Hi ^_^ I'm new and I'll share something I've written a few years ago. I'm just in high school, so I don't get to write a lot.

Title: Lumina & Sparky
Fandom: None (original work ^_^)
Genre: Fairytale... sort of.
Rating: G, I guess. But don't read this to little kids ^.^;
Pairing: None.
Sort-of summary: Fairytales start with "once upon a time" and end with "they lived happily ever after". Well, this story does too. But I can't really stamp it as a fairytale.
Real summary: Lumina and Sparky are two stuffed bunnies. Their owner deserts them, so they decide to venture out to the outside world. But when they make a simple little bet, their little bunny lives are changed forever.
Warning: Sucky writing. Well, that's because it's not supposed to be written nicely. It's supposed to be written like a real fairytale. But it's not exactly for young children, even though it's about stuffed bunnies. The story was conceived when I was thinking about cannibalism and stuff. Somehow, it's connected to the story. You'll find out soon enough.
Other warning: I talk too much.

The moon and the stars are shining so brightly tonight... )</div>

Am I running or standing still?
Must be both.
Everything is just moving so fast.
Or is it me?
I feel car sick, but I'm not moving.
I'm confused.

My heart is jumping and pounding.
It's throwing a tantrum in my chest.
I can't see anything outside my head anymore.
All I can see is oil mixed with water.
A VanGogh painting of the wind.

What is love?
Love isn't a rational feeling.
Or is it a thing?
If so, it's the best drug I've ever been addicted to.
Maybe I've ODed.
Maybe that's why I'm in rehab.

No. This isn't rehab.
It's my special padded cage.
Love put me here.
They say I'm not allowed to leave my cage.
But they don't know.
My mind goes wherever it wants to.
It wants you.
